What is a mini-node?

Optical mini-node that serves as a bridge between coaxial technology and optical networks. It transforms the optical signal (1550nm) from the main network into a coaxial signal (105-1220 MHz) that travels to the user modem.

It also transforms the signal from the coaxial modem (5-85MHz) into an optical signal for the operator's headend, thanks to the return channel transmitter in the 1610nm window, with 3dBm of optical power.

It uses a single fiber for the forward and return channel.

It is ideal in installations that use the DOCSIS protocol for bidirectional data distribution and the DVB-C standard for television signals.

Incorporates OLC technology.

Ideal for RF Overlay, FTTB and FTTH applications.
